Get the Look: Harajuku Lolita

Japan is quite famous for one of its streets, which is called Harajuku. I went to Japan about six years ago, and was really bummed since I didn't got the chance to go to Harajuku and see what it's like there. I'm sure you know already what I mean when I talk about Harajuku, yes, those group of people, mostly teenagers- dressed up in quirky outfits and such. Ballerina tutus paired with neon biker boots, colorful hair pinned with hundreds of pretty tiny little bows, and panda backpacks.

Honestly, I've had a phase where I (embarrassingly) really wanted to dress up like them here in here. So I did, when I was about in the sixth grade or whatever, I'm literally now typing this while thinking about all the stupid outfits I put together which I thought were "cool" and "kawaii". Just the thought of a sixth-grader-wearing-rainbow-tutus-and-neon-leggins makes me want to push the-sixth-grade-version of myself down a set of stairs. Up until now, I still think they're absolutely amazing, since they don't really follow trend, they just wear what they want, and proud of it.

Here are some of a few, and more subtle, pieces that you can wear, and mix with plain, classic key-pieces such as basic t-shirts and a nice pair of jeans which can never go wrong with anything. Or you can go all out, the choice is up to you! People will definitely be staring at you, so just walk proudly and just wear what makes you happy. If you can't go to Harajuku, take Harajuku here with you, and with your very own spin!

Alexander Wang's Balenciaga bags make a sleek debut.
One of the most iconic pieces a designer can make is a signature handbag. It's a piece in which its designer will be able to show their true aesthetics. So it would be no surprise that Wang's first collection of handbags are sleek, simple, understated, andstrong-structured, Named "Le Dix" Wang honored the French fashion house original salon address (10 Avenue George V) and the house's first fragrance.
The release of these accessories helps the house's transition to its new aesthetics. It sure is a departure from their previous signature motorcycle handbags which has been seen   on celebrities fo Wang has succeed in creating a collection of bags that excels in its simplicity, bags that don't hide behind the embellishments (such as studs, buckles, stitches and zippers) but the one that shows its beauty through its simplicity by focusing us on its structure, quality of leather, and color.

Glow in the dark things has always been an obsession, especially when we get to wear it as an outfit piece! These days they can make any piece of an outfit glow in the dark, and with a classy touch at that.

1. Alexander Wang's S/S 2013 Collection featured an amazing glow in the dark finale which I absolutely love. The glow elements are just perfect with the color combinations, designs, and beauty styling.

2. Alexander Wang Tote & Heels has gotten me thinking it was unreal, but clearly these are as real as they are. I would really love to see people wear these under a dark night sky.

3. Nike Lunar TR1+ iD Glow in the Dark trainers are so rad, this has gone definitely into my hard-to-find to-buy list. These trainers make people's eyes turn to your night-training feet as you pass by.

4. American Apparel Glow in the Dark Nail Polish's vibrant and striking colors are excellent. Such colors make your nails pop with or without luminance.

Keep your eyes peeled for glow in the dark apparels, accessories, etc. and maybe you can submit us your ideas on amazingly applicable and beneficial glow in the dark items!
