Knit Knit Knit All Knitwear

8/11/2013

I was scrolling down my Tumblr dashboard when something really colorful caught my eye. Literally I clicked it and it lead me to this website. I can't describe it really, cause it basically speaks for itself. All the colors and patterns and color-blocking reminded me a lot of those oversized sweaters and kindergarten. ALL Knitwear was created by Annie Larson, born in Seoul, but grew up in Wisconsin. Each sweater and beanies are made-to-order and hand made. Each of them has its own special touch.

Alice+Oilvia does Clueless

"She could be a farmer in those clothes" - Ugh, AS IF!

Watch out, Cher Horowitz! Almighty fashion goddess Stacey Bendet answered our unspoken prayers. The Alice+Olivia designers  fall 2013 collection is chock-full of '90s schoolgirl goodness - tartan, miniskirts, argyle, and so much more. You would be a total betty with their new collections, not a farmer, that's what Amber said.

It may be a little too early to get excited about the Pre-Fall 2013 collections, but what-ever. The collections brings back to the 90's era where tartan and skirt suit were a must haves outfits for every girl looking to be chic. The resemblances of that skirt suit with Miss Dionne outfit from Clueless were just splendid. You will see a lot of dots, patterns, and schoolboy plaid on their new clueless inspired collections. It will be a little different from Wildfox, who also does a clueless inspired collections "Kids in America" and wowed us with their colorful and nostalgic tribute to Clueless. Alice + Olivia focused more on its patterns and details, the plaids on their collections reflect to the 60's Era British mod, but with a little twist of the 1995 modern look. In just a month, they will release the collection and hopefully you can snag up and dressed up as snazzy as Cher and Dionne did with their most iconic look from Clueless!

Alexander Wang's Balenciaga bags make a sleek debut.
One of the most iconic pieces a designer can make is a signature handbag. It's a piece in which its designer will be able to show their true aesthetics. So it would be no surprise that Wang's first collection of handbags are sleek, simple, understated, andstrong-structured, Named "Le Dix" Wang honored the French fashion house original salon address (10 Avenue George V) and the house's first fragrance.
The release of these accessories helps the house's transition to its new aesthetics. It sure is a departure from their previous signature motorcycle handbags which has been seen   on celebrities fo Wang has succeed in creating a collection of bags that excels in its simplicity, bags that don't hide behind the embellishments (such as studs, buckles, stitches and zippers) but the one that shows its beauty through its simplicity by focusing us on its structure, quality of leather, and color.

Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski Digi Floral Camo

A friend told me about these amazing looking shoes I'm pretty sure Nike lovers got their eyes on, a pair of Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski Digi Floral Camo. These shoes was designed by skateboarder, artist, writer, and musician Stefan Janoski as the collection is called. Skateboarding attire has always been a comfortable wear for some people who goes out on their casual days, preferably skateboarding footwear. At first, Stefan Janoski created these derived Nike line as far as only footwear for skateboarding with standard static colors such as green or black, but these days people use them as a fashion piece in mind of the nice patterns and color combinations he started designing these times. Along with trend which is always changing, this kind of footwear amazes people on how comfortable they are and adds a touch by the perfect color and pattern designs. This precise one called Digi Floral Camo is one of the many designs by Stefan Janoski, with a pixelated camo pattern base along with floral prints on some of the edges, this time he introduced a different pattern design of his derived line of Nike footwear.
